  10.        This chapter lists supplemental information to the _I_R_I_S
  11.        _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e.  The information listed here is
  12.        product-specific; use it with the installation guide to
  13.        install this product.

  15.        2.1  _A_d_m_i_n_M_a_g_i_c__S_u_b_s_y_s_t_e_m_s

  17.        The AdminMagic product includes these subsystems:

  19.        _a_d_m_i_n_m_a_g_i_c._s_w._n_e_t_w_o_r_k         The network system management
  20.                                      applications:  _p_p_p_s_e_t_u_p,
  21.                                      _i_s_d_n_s_e_t_u_p, They are installed
  22.                                      by default. These are the
  23.                                      applications for isdn and ppp
  24.                                      system administration.

  30.        This section lists the subsystems (and their sizes) of the
  31.        AdminMagic option.

  33.        If you click on the _N_e_w _P_r_o_d_u_c_t_s checkbox in the Software
  34.        Manager, then new subsystems marked "default" are the ones
  35.        installed automatically if you click on the _S_t_a_r_t button.
  36.        To install a different set of subsystems, click the
  37.        _C_u_s_t_o_m_i_z_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n button to view and select desired
  38.        subsystems.

  40.        Note:  The listed subsystem sizes are approximate. Refer to
  41.               the _I_R_I_S _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for information

  75.        IRIX in multi-user mode.  You do not need to use the
  76.        miniroot. Refer to the _I_R_I_S _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e for
  77.        complete installation instructions.

  79.        2.4  _P_r_e_r_e_q_u_i_s_i_t_e_s

  82.        The following prerequisites external to AdminMagic apply to
  83.        the _a_d_m_i_n_m_a_g_i_c._s_w._n_e_t_w_o_r_k subsystem:

  85.           +o You must have installed the execution C library
  86.             (_e_o_e_1._s_w._l_i_b).

  88.           +o You must have installed the isdn support
  89.             (_i_s_d_n__e_o_e._s_w._i_s_d_n).

  91.           +o You must have installed the ppp support (_e_o_e_2._s_w._p_p_p).

  94.             (_p_a_t_c_h_S_G_0_0_0_0_5_1_7).

  96.           +o You must have installed the TCP/IP networking support
  97.             (_e_o_e_2._s_w._t_c_p).

  100.             environment (_d_e_s_k_t_o_p__e_o_e._s_w). This subsystem's
  101.             prerequisites include X window system, window manager,
  102.             and visual toolkits.

  105.        2.4.1  _A_d_m_i_n_M_a_g_i_c__a_p_p_l_i_c_a_t_i_o_n_s  The AdminMagic applications
  106.        can be accessed from from the _S_y_s_t_e_m _M_a_n_a_g_e_r applications
  107.        panel, from the collaboration page, or from the command
  108.        line. If you installed the optional WebForce Product CD,
  109.        these tools will also be available from the _S_y_s_t_e_m menu of
  110.        the _T_o_o_l_c_h_e_s_t, and from the _W_e_b _T_o_o_l_s Icon Catalog page.
